About
Nikola Križková's journey in the performing arts has been shaped by a series of enriching experiences and collaborations.
Her journey began with her graduation from the Duncan Center Conservatory in 2002, a milestone that opened doors to collaboration with the Center Chorégraphique National de Nantes of Claude Brumachon. For nearly two decades (2002–2019), she immersed herself in France's vibrant arts scene as a dancer, working with celebrated ensembles and choreographers like Philippe Genty, Philippe Jamet, Beatrice Massin and many others.
In 2014 Nikola embarked on a personal journey to explore and refine her choreographic language. This exploration culminated in a collaboration with director and visual artist Amador Artiga, resulting in the establishment of the dance theater company "Chantiers des Images." Together, they crafted performances that resonated across cultural hubs like Valencia, Paris, and Prague, each piece a testament to their collective dedication.
After returning to the Czech Republic in 2019, Nikola brought back a wealth of international experience and a vision to enrich the local arts community. Recognizing a need to bolster the distribution and visibility of Czech performing arts, she dedicated herself to uplifting fellow artists and fostering cross-cultural exchange. Her efforts are driven by a passion for collaboration and shared artistic growth, rather than personal acclaim.
Recognizing a gap in the Czech performing arts scene, Nikola has devoted herself to a vital cause: enhancing the distribution and visibility of Czech artistic works, both nationally and internationally.
Since 2019, Nikola has taken on the role as a tour manager with CONTINUO THEATRE, working diligently to bring their captivating shows to a global audience. Her role extends beyond mere producing and booking management, as she passionately strives to facilitate cross-cultural connections, networking and promote the outstanding works of SPITFIRE COMPANY and other companies, including TANTEHORSE, MARIE GOURDAIN and FELIX BAUMANN.
Her aspiration is that these talents will gain recognition on a broader scale, transcending borders and enriching the national and international artistic dialogue.
